Re: Dash cam diy

You can also power a dash cam requiring USB power from the OBD port. There are Chinese kits around as well as kits from some dash cam manufacturers.

Do a Google search for 'dashcam obd power'(without the quotes).

Re: Warning lights

My stop/start sometimes does not activate for days. Depends on the type of journeys I'm doing i.e. short ones. Remember the battery in general gets charged on the overrun.

My Bridgestone Turanzas were the biggest disappointment. They were also noisy and harsh on a BMW X1 I test drove. Not so sure about tyres getting quieter as they wear, it depends on too many factors. Many get noisier. Inadequate sound deadening can also be a weight issue affecting emissions figures....

Re: Cabin Soundproofing

I posted this on the other Forum last December. "Thought I'd raise this again. I recently contacted Noisekiller in Royton. They have a kit for the Karoq but haven't yet posted the fitting instructions on their website. They emailed them to me. Must admit I'm a bit daunted by the things you have...

With the system 'crying wolf' like this you may miss a truly serious fault so perhaps DVSA should take an interest.

Re: Roof bars for 2021 Karoq SEL

I’ve just fitted some I bought from Parttech, who advertise on EBay. A fraction of the price of some of the branded ones and in my opinion, a lot neater. Look part of the car rather than resembling scaffolding. Will put a photo on but at the moment I can’t see how to! Just post the Ebay link. e.g. ...
