Re: stop start not working

Most people are delighted if the 'Start/stop function won't work. I found it a pain in the backside and on some occasions it can be downright dangerous.
It has been proved that it does not save fuel and it is merely a sop to the global warming brigade. (yes I am a believer in global warming)

Re: Space saver wheel

No Probs, TRY YOUR LOCAL SCRAPPY. OR CHARLES TRENT OF POOLE. THEY WILL SEND KIT ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. EXPECT TO PAY APPROX £70 FOR THE FULL KIT OF WHEEL, JACK AND WHEEL BRACE. OR LOOK ON EBAY FOR (SOMETIMES) EVEN CHEAPER. I bought the Alutecs from a Yeti forum chum. he packed them brilliantly and...

Re: Space saver wheel

Yes! you can buy mine! Unused. Where are you? Sending wheels by courier is a pain. Happy to travel 50 miles out from Poole Dorset. to either deliver or meet you. If interested make me an offer. Paul,
Check with your dealer.
Skoda have a habit of removing options without notice.

Re: Space saver for 19” wheels

Hello Paul, A quick search looks a though it could cost £12-15 including packaging material.* to send it to North Staffs by DPD or DHL * They are very particular in the way wheels are packaged . If interested I can go into finer details, (weighing and measuring the wheel and tyre etc.) and get a spe...

Re: Fuel flap 2019 Karoq sportline

And here I am! Sadly, I can't help you. I never had replace the whole thing. My flap did exactly the same. Being still under warranty I called the AA and he said the only way to be able to refuel is 'pop it' as you did. Luckily, I had already agreed a P/X deal. with Meadens, so I 'phoned them up and...

Re: 1.0 TSI SE Drive

Two reasons I never went for the 1.0 L engine in my Skoda days, Gutless on the open road/M way, as said above and being a 3pot engine, sounds like a tractor at tick over. I have had 1.4 Kodiaq 1.4L DSG & 3 Karoq1.5 Tsi DSG with active cylinder technology (Google it if you want a full explanation...

Re: Skoda karoq 1500cc gasoline transmission noise

Welcome to the forum. How many Kms has the car covered? I could not really hear the noise on the video, Any noise from the transmission on a manual car when the clutch pedal is depressed is often a worn clutch release bearing. IF! it is this, at only a year old, unless exceptional 'mileage' it is un...

Re: Engine start

I agree with the 13+volts charge with engine running. Get a battery shop to do a high discharge test on it to make sure. https://www.google.com/search?q=high+discharge+battery+test&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB809GB809&oq=high+discharge+battery+test&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30l3j0i390i650.12196j0j4&...
