Orange warning triangle

and what looked like a car with squiggly bits each side of it. Too small to see without reading specs. In orange as well. Looked in the handbook and it didn't look like the traction control warning signs. It went off and hasn't come back on so maybe nothing to worry about.

Re: KESSY

"At least KESSY should not allow you to start the car unless the key is inside the vehicle. Have fun, Ian" It doesn't! Try it. I can stand right by the open drivers door and the key is not detected. It does have to be actually IN the car. Indeed (I did, ages ago) but I do not have faith t...

Re: New Skoda Baby SUV KAMIQ

I'm with you FPR.! I think both the Kodiaq and the Karoq are great looking cars. Being an old fashioned (old age!) sort of bloke I like SUVs and estate cars to look like what they were originally designed for, load lugging. That's why I had three Yetis. The slopey back SUVs And 'Tourers' (as modern...

Re: 1.0 TSI OR 2.0 TDI

Hi.I got the 2L diesel 4x4 last June. I do some motorway driving but majority of driving is between Clonmel and Kilkenny. I got the 4x4 because I drive a lot at night and liked the idea of having the extra grip on bad roads. MPG is around 47 but if I drive at 50 mph it improves substantially. I cou...

Re: 1.0 TSI OR 2.0 TDI

I guess the 1.0L being less powerful than 1.5 may be the reason it's better with a manual box, but there's not much in it really

Re: New Skoda Baby SUV KAMIQ

Have there been different shapes of the yeti, I'm sure the latest ones look a little less quirky than earlier models. I deliberately avoided anything that looked like a van after driving a scudo 6 seater for eleven years. In my opinion the karoq looks classy unlike most of the other suv's that look ...

Re: 1.0 TSI OR 2.0 TDI

Hi Thomas, Your answers would all push me towards the petrol engines and, even with the long lead time, the 1.5 would be my choice (but be aware that some owners with 1.5 and manual transmissions have reported issues with the engine when running cold). However, there are plenty of happy 1.0TSi owne...

Re: 1.6 TDI

Agree with all that Kodiaq has said. I’d go for petrol. I have the 1.0 SE Nav Plus and have been very pleased with it so far. Has more power than I need (but I am no boy racer), is smooth, spacious and comfortable. If you need more power you would need to get a 1.5 petrol but according to hundreds ...

So doesn't seem related to 1st gear only.
