Re: Stop & Start

I'm on a DSG and I find the stop start works very well not at all intrusive, once stationary it stops and as soon as I touch the accelerator it's straight into life bearly a delay so much better on an auto than a manual.

Yes to a harness. It's not doing any restraining though, like I said he just gets in the boot and curls up right by the backseats
So many dogs travel loose, it's good he's safe.

Re: Rear Bumper Protector/Scratch Guard (chrome?)

A crate is the best thing, my seats are out in my car and the dogs crate is up behind the front seats, now I did have it in the boot but I missed having the boot space, I had to make a big of floor to cover the gap. The Fords get a better ride there too. The main danger with unrestrained dogs in a c...

Re: Hi All

Welcome, and hope you enjoy your new car. I always had a soft spot for the Yeti, but found it a bit small for my needs and went for a Golf Plus, then Golf SV instead. But with the demise of VW MPVs, I've returned to Skoda with a Karoq. Chris I fear it's MPV in general far more user friendly than an...

Re: Rear Bumper Protector/Scratch Guard (chrome?)

You can buy clear plastic adhesive protectors from various outlets. Manufacturers usually rip you off about £60 for a 3ft strip! They are cheaper elsewhere. I have a Sportline, painted bumpers, so even more reason to look after them. I use a piece of non skid matting covered with an old towel. Just...

Re: Owners handbook

Mine has been activated but it's useless says the car is open but it isn't, have to tell it to lock it then it shows locked I've got a suspicion this is down to when it stores the data in the cloud. When I come back from shopping and unload the shopping from the boot, then close and lock the car, t...
