Re: What annoys you about your Karoq?

Nothing, except that it isn't Yeti-shaped with all the same gizmos.

Re-design of the K's

In 2020, both K's will have SKODA in large letters across the rear hatch, rather than the more subtle badge. Yuk!

Re: Engine warm-up time

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't concerned, just impressed. It will be interesting to see how long the heater takes to put out warmth as our (diesel) Yeti was amazingly quick, even though the water temperature hadn't got to normal. I'll check how long the oil takes to get to 90 degrees.

Re: Which optional equipment?

The Skoda dog guard is good as it's secured to the vehicle, rather than some cheaper versions using the headrests and the roller-blind rear shelf works with it too. It comes with a rubber mat and a protector for the rear bumper. The Skoda mats are good as they have a turned-up edge, like a tray, whi...

Engine warm-up time

I've noticed that the water temperature is up to 90 degrees extremely quickly, in less than a mile of motoring. Have other 1.5 petrol engine owners seen this?

Re: Drive mode - remembering/storing preferred default mode

I noticed today that at traffic lights, I'd forgotten to switch off stop/start and the engine switched of...

Re: Parcel shelf/retractable liner

Hi Skoda-yoda. We have a greyhound plus the Skoda dog guard and she fits in the boot easily even with the retractable shelf in place. There is more room for her than in the Yeti. I'm still using a boot liner from our Roomster, with modifications to fasten it to the tie-down points and the rear flap ...

Re: Dq200 dry dsg gear box

Hi TJJ. Once I have a copy of the 'from new' warranty I'll check the conditions. Comments on another forum indicate that the one year warranty providing a fourth year of guarantee provides less cover than the pre-registration warranty. It seems strange that once the car is registered, Skoda will not...
