I’ve just fitted some I bought from Parttech, who advertise on EBay. A fraction of the price of some of the branded ones and in my opinion, a lot neater. Look part of the car rather than resembling scaffolding. Will put a photo on but at the moment I can’t see how to! Just post the Ebay link. e.g. ...

Is it still under warranty?
If it is take it back to the dealer. It is a common fault I (and others) have had it replaced free. Even if it is out of warranty, you might get a sympathetic dealer.

I use some cheap Aldi/Lidl Brio bars, there are posts about them on the other forum.

I'm on a DSG and I find the stop start works very well not at all intrusive, once stationary it stops and as soon as I touch the accelerator it's straight into life bearly a delay so much better on an auto than a manual. Just twitching the steering wheel starts the engine. You can 'beat' the accele...

When locking the car make sure you do not touch the back of the handle. Easy to do.
I generally touch the sensor to lock the car using the back of my hand to make sure I didn't inadvertently unlock it with my fingers.

It might be something to do with the scroll wheel on the right hand side. The Owners Manual is not the easiest to understand. Page 69 of the user manual says: "Select memory for driving data in the display of the instrument cluster via the multifunction steer-ing wheel and reset it › To select ...

If it is two little notches forming a 'hook' then I'm fairly certain that these are for securing the nets.
