Re: Locking unlocking car via door handles doesn't work

First try new batteries. Some say Panasonic work, and people have had issues with cheap batteries. Use 2032s, even if your current batteries are 2025s.

Re: KESSY

I have just spent a few minutes tseting the hatch opening. Thebutton on the key fob will open the hatch from around 35 feet, but the only thing it does when trying to close it is to flash the indicators twice. It doesn't actually close the door until you are about 6 feet away. The foot sensor does n...

Re: KESSY

I'm brand new here with my Brand New Karoq and found my boot open a couple of times (Luckily it has not been raining, and I live in a good area). Not sure if keyfob in my pocket whilst sitting in the house can open it OR the cat walking under the rear bumper might activate the opening. Any views? I...

Re: Questions for non Karoq owner (Kessy, rear seats, specs)

OK, The Skoda lettering across the tailgate and KESSY key that turned off when not moved were introduced for MY2020, ie from August 2019. (The 10th character in the VIN will be 'L') Race Blue and Crystal Black were added as colour options too. The SE Drive trim replaced the earlier SE Nav Plus and ...

Re: 19" Crater wheels & skinny rubber. Ride comfort comments please.

Well I for one am perfectly happy with the 19'' Craters on our Karoq. Don't experience a spine breaking ride - roadholding is good, acceping its on summer tyres (Turanzas) - and, best of all, they are easy to clean with room enough between the barrel and outside of the brake calliper to get my clea...

Re: Delivery dates on brand new orders ?

Just been advised that our new Karoq is scheduled to be built wk48 so cannot expect to see it till mid to late January. All V.A.G cars come through Emden port so I expect Audi's and V.W will have first pecking order leading up to the Xmas break. If late January told them to tax it February otherwis...

No you don't have to. The key is only inactive until it moves again.

Re: Keys

I am about to take delivery of a new Sportline. The dealer tells me that the KESSEY key cannot be read??? if it is not moving i.e. there is no need to store it in a Faraday case when not in use. Is this true or just dealer speak ? It is almost correct. The keys switch off when they have not moved f...

Re: Brake lights won’t turn off

The A is not the automatic parking brake , its Autohold. It holds the brakes on when you stop and, as such, the brake lights will be on. The parking brake will only come on automatically when the ignition is switched off ( if Autohold is on ) And if you wish, you can switch off autohold and manuall...
