Re: 1.0 TSI SE Drive

I have a PSA car with a 3 pot engine. You can hardly hear it on tickover, so it isn't a general 3 pot trait.

Re: Rear view mirror

USB-C beside rear view mirror is ignition switched, so not permanently on. All usb-c are switched. I don't have the socket on the mirror, so I power my dashcam from one of the other usb-c sockets. The issue here is that with my dashcam, the camera thinks it is being connected to a computer and will...

Some more info about your car would help. I assume it is a diesel.

Re: Headlight adjust - Europe

Many cars, even those with ordinary halogen lights, do not nowadays have a 'kick-up ' to the left on the dip beams, and as such do not need beam defectors or tape, no matter what Eurolites say. Many cars have a beam hight adjuster, so you can lower the beams to avoid dazzling. And remember, the law ...

Re: Headlight adjust - Europe

I asked about this when purchasing my late October2022 car. No settings on the screen to do this. Dealer confirmed when the satnav knows it's abroad, it automatically changes the lights as required! Has anyone actually confirmed this. My garage is adamant it is fact but not all staff there are conv...

Re: Radio Not Working

The radio has literally just stopped working. Was fine last night. This morning however nothing, won't change stations, no volume just staring at me not doing anything. Everything else is working perfectly. Any ideas please? Try switching the car off, leave for 5 minutes and try again. I have had i...

Re: Dreaded SOS Error

I had this, and the software was apparently up to date. The fault was apparently an aerial, which was replaced under warranty. On the last trip I did, the first after the new aerial was fitted, I didn't have a repeat alarm.

Re: Resonant humming at 60-70mph

Could it be the 2 cylinder ECO mode cutting in? I get a resonant sound from the exhaust when this occurs.

Re: Proposed purchase

My wife would never let me buy a car without a sunroof. It doesn't particularly matter whether it opens or not, she loves the extra light and the feeling of openness. The sunshine helps to warm the interior in the winter and there is always a blind if it gets too hot. Our Karoq is the first car we h...

Re: Car users Manual.

For those who actually have a paper manual, my car is in the dealer for an SOS system issue. Apparently it is more than just a software update. But oodly there is a recall on the car, which is apparently just an alteration to something in the paper manual, which then needs communicating with Skoda. ...
