Park Pilot auto braking?

I'm a bit confused by this feature and I expect you clever lot out there can help me! Having read the manual I think I understand that if you approach too close to a fixed object it will put the brakes on for you as a last resort. Is that correct? Yes I've just spent half an hour pushing my wheelie ...

Re: Unable to open fuel filler flap

I have found a different problem re the filler flap. If the car is frozen up you can't open the flap to access the scraper!! :D :D

I may have to resort to keeping it in my house...... (the scraper, not the car....)

Re: Auto stop start delay please!

Thanks all, glad it's not just me!
I'll try making a steering correction - I didn't realise that had an effect. This car is a bit to clever for it's own good sometimes!!

Auto stop start delay please!

Am I right in assuming there's no way to adjust the sensitivity of the auto engine stop start system? Mine seems too keen to turn the engine off! For instance, if I'm turning right in the middle of the road and have to wait for one car, or less, to pass before I can turn then the engine is off almos...

Re: 1.5 SEL DEG Random emergency braking

I just had a sharp unexpected braking while cruising along straight at 40mph in roadworks. It only applied the brakes for less than half a second ish, just enough time to frighten me, my passenger and the bloke behind! The big red scary symbol appeared in the display with no prior warning. I wasn't ...

Re: Amundsen actual speed display? Compass?

Thanks everyone! No doubt Skoda will contact me at some point an ask me how it's all going so I'll put that on the list. Not that I have a list yet. All is fine.....

Re: Amundsen actual speed display? Compass?

Thanks milfmog! I've only used the satnav once seriously and we did spend rather a lot of time in the middle of Congleton when we could have gone round the edge. Maybe I'll resurrect Tom...😕

Amundsen actual speed display? Compass?

Hi all After an eight month wait for my SEL 1.5TSI DSG there are two things (so far, after two days) that I'd like to change but can't. The Handbook doesn't help... Can the navigation show actual speed? My Tomtom does and I've come to rely on it, especially in the 50mph average speed check areas on ...

Re: Purchasing a new Karoq, help please!

Well I've been waiting since February for mine to be made so I'd say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!! A car in the dealership is worth two in the factory. :)
But then I'm getting a bit cynical..........
