Re: Start Stop

Pain in the arse and it is proved that it doesn't save petrol. Just remember to switch it off every time you start up. It will sonn become automatic. If you really hate it DO NOT be tempted to cut any wires or in any other was disable it. The default is OFF and you will be stuffed! it will also inva...

Re: New to Skoda (No sales section?)

Welcome to the forum. I have 4 Alutec (German) 16inch alloys shod with useable all season tyres. they are cluttering up my garage so would be pleased to get rid of them. I am not prepared to carrier them as there was a complete cock up when I bought them. I have just undergone major stomach surgery,...

Re: Plastic Trim on wheels

I agree with 'Soup'. Re the wheel trims and the start/stop function. It IS a pain in the @rse . It does NOT save you petrol and at times it is dangerous. It is merely an industry sop to thr tree hugging green brigade, as is the removal of any type of spare wheel. Again the excuse is to save the pla...

Re: Dreaded SOS Error

My original Kodiaq (the 6th to be registered in the U.K. So a VERY early one) had the SOS fault within 3 weeks of buying it and the dealer tried three times to correct it and couldn't . Obviously being brand new the software was up to date. After great deal of faffing about including a visit by the ...

Re: Wheel alignment - con or not??

I had a 4 wheel alignment done by Bathwick, before they became Protyre and they produced an extremely comprehensive diagrammatic computer print out of all four wheels, toe in/out, camber and caster* (*not for rear wheels obvs) on my Karoq. with before and after diagrams showing red or green and with...
