Re: Fuel flap problems

My flap failed on my 18 plate 20k Karoq, had to force it open as i needed fuel. To get the flat closed and flush after I cut off the tabs of the locking arbour that catches the flap locked. This allowed me to refuel and disguised the fact the flat was not fully closed. My mail dealer (Marshalls Bedf...

Re: VarioFlex Seats

You do not have to remove the headrest just compress the back into the seat more with more pressure than you imagine. Headrest stays in place ( obviously at its lowest l position)

Re: VarioFlex Seats

You need to push hard down on the backrest while pulling the nylon tag to compress it down lower. Seems excessive but that’s the rools.

Re: Parcel shelf

Hi Tom
I believe it’s just out of warranty and I bought it from a Vauxhall dealer who had it in part ex ( no idea why anyone wants to chop it in for a VX but some folk are weird) who was 150miles away.
I need to check with a local dealer.
Thanks

Parcel shelf

Since i bought my 2018 Edition 12 months ago the rear parcel shelf has never full retracted back into the housing. It leaves 200mm of material hanging out. Before I attempt to take it apart to fix it do any one know a quick fix so it fully retracts. Can the spring be adjusted or do i just have to li...

Re: Dash Cam fitted to rear roofline - blocks radio

Agreed. Had same issue fit a ferrit core on the dash cam cable about 4-6inches from cam and it’s sorted. Did on mine anyway. Usually come with kit or hardwire kit for £20 ish

Re: Cure for juddery wipers

My new front set of Bosch wipers arrived this morning. Unfortunately Son No.2 has borrowed my beloved Karoq for weekend while his Clio is fixed so fitting them will have to wait.
Who’d have kids ah ?

Hardwire dashcam earth

Just got round to permanently hard wiring in my Nextbase dashcam. Wired all ok to fuse box behind glovebox. 2 questions 1. What is the best fuse to piggyback on to ? I’m thinking cigarette socket? Perm or switched live ? 2. It’s all plastic behind there, where can I attach an Earth to ? TIA my virtu...
