Re: Diesel? Nein Danke!
Getting pretty good mpg on my 2.0 TDi DSG 4x4 with (now) 4,100 on the clock. With these numbers very happy. “Peaks” were long hauls sitting at 60mpg on cruise control. Planet saved.
Well happy with the diesel choice so for me, ja danke.

Re: Can non Karoq wheels fit?
Minor update time. Didn’t bother going for different styles, stuck to the 17” Ratikons for a second set. Picked them up early July. https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/11110/426FBD07-3799-4313-B217-7020C12EC19A.jpeg And these ready to go on. https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/userp...

Re: New member
Elec handbrake is a piece of cake, don’t worry about it. I’m new to Karoqs but have used leckie handbrakes on LRs for 14 years, just use it like you would a manual lever. Pull up to apply, push down to switch off. Simples.
Unless I’m wrong, I’ve only owned a Karoq for 31 hours.

Re: Speed rating on tyres fitted to new cars
Is that screw puncture capable of being repaired via proper tyre shop that can do that type of repair? Had similar on a tyre, my regular tyre shop sent me to a local place that did vulcanised repairs and it was good as new.

Re: First ever Skoda.
Picked up yesterday and I’m one very happy bunny. :) 150 mile drive home meant I could get used to all the essential bits and bobs. Nice light traffic, even got to use cruise control on the M25 in the rush hours!! Very nice to drive, very nice indeed, happy with the choice of 2.0 diesel auto. The tr...

Re: Can non Karoq wheels fit?
Bit of an add on question re TPMS on the Karoq, is this via valve sensors or via the wheel speed sensors? Hopefully the latter as it simplifies getting an additional set of wheels. Not a lot of availability out there for Karoq rims but fair amount of choice for Ateca/Tiguan/Q3 rims though.

Re: Can non Karoq wheels fit?
Found these as a genuine Skoda wheel tyre combo, only ~£162 each. https://eshop.skoda-auto.sk/en_SK/complete-17-wheel-ratikon-karoq-dot-2018/p/CBX225557RS85P Free delivery to local Skoda dealer, unfortunately only in Slovak Republic. That’s a wheel and tyre for £50 less than the price of the rim alo...
