If your battery is marked as an AGM type, then I would have expected that to be the right setting. What make and type of battery charger is it? What does its instruction booklet say?

Re: Karoq in the snow
Welcome to the forum, and hope your new car goes well for you. I still have a set of winter tyres that I bought around 8 years ago for my Golf Plus. I then used them on my Golf SV as well, but they are now time-expired while still having plenty of tread depth left. So to my mind, swapping tyres ever...

Re: Hello
When in doubt read the downloaded manual, as it contains a lot more information about the infotainment systems than the printed one in the glovebox!! The MY21 Karoqs come with the 3rd generation Infotainment systems, and as such have USB-C ports rather than SD card slots. However the maps are update...

Re: extended warranty - is it worth it?
I suspect not as the factory warranty is included as an option in the initial order. The current prices are £300 for a 4th year or 80,000 miles, £340 for a 4th year or 100,000 miles, or £630 for a 4th and 5th year or 100,000 miles. See here: https://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/warranty You'll need to com...

Re: extended warranty - is it worth it?
There are two factors that lead me to buy an extended warranty - the fact that I tend to keep me cars for longer than the 'free' warranty of three years, and that DSG boxes can be very expensive to repair should they go wrong (and the dry box on the 1.5 TSIs is reputed to be less reliable than the w...

Re: Skoda Karoq boot liners
The Sakura is a rubber boot floor, rather than a liner protecting the sides of the boot and back of the seats. I've got one coming in a few days, but others have praised its durability. How well it fits is going to be down to how well you cut away the excess material I guess, but my plan is to remov...

Re: waiting for my motor
Yeh, typo for Emden in Germany. boats go to Sheerness for the south, and Immingham (near Hull) for the north (and I think Northern Ireland rather than being routed via Dublin like the Irish cars).

Re: waiting for my motor
Did you pay for the towing options just to get your caravan back from Brittany? Or are you swapping it for a smaller van once it's back in the UK? That seems an expensive way of bringing it back home to me if you don't still need the towing capability? If the car is a dealer order and 'on it's way',...

Re: Skoda Karoq boot liners
Not used these myself, but Hatchbag seem to be highly rated (if expensive) in this thread:

This was for a Yeti, but the later posts show what they look like, and presumably they'll have Karoq versions.
