Re: Aircon Temperature - make it colder

Does this affect it! “Operating modes Automatic mode works in three modes - moderate, medium, and intensive. Setting the different modes is carried out via the function surface » Fig. 158 on page 117. After the automatic mode is switched on, Climatronic works in the last selec- ted mode. The current...

Re: first service

Nothing to stop you taking it to a dealer for an annual service. An oil change service every year is what I have done. The high miles service is mainly for those company car drivers beating up and down motorways every day. If I was doing low annual miles there is no way I would wait 3 or 4 years for...

Re: What annoys you about your Karoq?

Why can’t it coast in normal drive mode. That’s the main reason I use Eco.

Re: What annoys you about your Karoq?

+1 mirror reflection. Having selected Eco once, the next time I start the car it has reverted to the normal drive mode despite showing Eco on the central screen. 18” Braga wheels. Can’t get all season tyres to fit and they are not easy to clean. In the scheme of things all minor and no regrets buyin...

Re: air recirculation ?

Interesting wording using “can” but.... When the pollutant concentration decreases to the normal level, the reci...

Re: Run flat tyres? Winter tyres? Michelin CrossClimate tyres?

Thanks Tom, I have sent an email to the Skoda garage where I have ordered my car, to find out whether it's possible to downgrade from 18" to 17" wheels on an SE-L without having to buy a completely separate set of alloys. But I'm not overly optimistic.... Also send an email to Skoda UK and push the...

Re: Run flat tyres? Winter tyres? Michelin CrossClimate tyres?

Michelin don’t do Cross Climates for the SEL 18” rims. It’s an “odd” size, not sure if there are any all weather tyres that fit!

I have a SEL and it looks like the way out is 17” rims.

Re: Diesel particle filter

Sorry, you asked a question and we gave you reasons not to buy a diesel. Dpfs are designed to burn off the soot on a regular basis. Too many interrupted regenerations is the problem. The usual indicators of a regeneration taking place are the engine running slightly hotter and the tickover revs bein...
