Re: New Karoq 4x4

Sorry, I’m the one to apologise. I lost the plot with my answer. Safest thing is to ignore everything I said except read the owner’s manual and laugh at the video.

Re: New Karoq 4x4

P stands for "park". Put it in P before turning off engine. If you don't the car will remind you. The auto brake works instead of the handbrake that you don't have. Excuse me interrupting. The 'auto brake' is NOT the handbrake, it is the small button to the right of the parking button the rear of th...

Re: Rattle on skoda karoq Edition interior

fix the middle seat belt as it would be if there was a passenger. If the rattle persists then it's not the seat belt.

Re: Advice please

Hello Neil from sunny Whitby. .... I think KESSY is brilliant - when the car is locked, the boot can be opened without fiddling for keys, ditto the passenger's and driver's doors. Locking again is easy - just a touch and all 4 doors plus boot lock. If you're concerned about security, keep the key w...

Re: Rear Fog Lights 1 or 2 ?

Been like this for years. My 1998 Passat was the same except it had the fittings in the other light so adding a bulb was no problem.
My 2010 Yeti only had one rear fog.

Thanks Tom. The Yeti tyres are 1" less in diameter.
So what is the ET difference?

Re: Safety Equipment

My triangle came out of my previous Yeti which came out of the previous Passat estate dating back to 1998.
The Skoda rubber mats I use came from the Yeti.

Re: Karoq 1.5 DSG consumption

Slapdash?

Real users in the real world are surely more accurate than the published figures.

These figures match my 1.5Tsi DSG 2wd (5000 miles) within a couple of points.

Re: Cross climate tyres from Yeti to Karoq

If the Yeti tyres are bigger then the Karoq speedo will under read. Speedos must never under read. They can legally over read but by not more than 10%. Another factor is the wheel offset, the ET. The Yeti wheels will be substantially different from the Karoq. I think the Karoq ET is 45. You will als...
