Re: Why the Karoq over the Ateca?

The Ateca forum is reporting that Seat will no longer accept orders for the 1.4TSI engine due to " overwhelming demand" If you want a Karoq 1.5 instead suggest you get in quick before the waiting list gets ridiculous.

Re: Electric seat compulsory extras

Market Research will haver shown that purchasers of the electric seats, which many would view as a "luxury" option would also go for these other luxury items ? I guess that by packaging these options together production levels can be maintained and thus avoid the delays which have blighted the Ateca.

Re: Boot Dimensions

Hello Not sure where you live but if you can get hold of a copy of " What Car " magazine- January 2018 available in UK newsagents from Friday 24th November you will find in it a comparison test between the Karoq and Ateca. The article includes both photos and diagrams with the dimensions you are loo...

Karoq Impresses

Positive reports on the Karoq in today's motoring press. In today's Auto Express the Karoq beats the Peugeot 3008 in a head to head whilst Autocar has positive first impressions, Seems the ride /handling trade off is good even without adaptive dampers.

Re: A good review

Good first review of the Karoq in the latest issue of What Car. Looks as if it may supplant the Ateca as their favourite SUV. Very positive on ride comfort , the upmarket feel of the cabin and the pricing of optional extras.

Re: Skoda Karoq Video Review - What Car?

I believe that Autocar & What Car are both part of the Haymarket publishing group so use of the same person doing the video is understandable.

Re: A ggod review

Good reviews across the board it seems. Wonder how many Ateca buyers will switch given the wait for the 1.4 TSi Ateca now seems to be around six months.

Re: Skoda Karoq at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Looks as if Skoda has stolen Autoemocion from SEAT. Very smart.

Re: Karoq at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Looking forward to seeing the Karoq at Frankfurt as the interior is so much better than the Ateca. There have been doubts raised about the handling in motoring journalists first reports but we shall have to await a test on UK roads to see if the handling is as good as the Ateca. No mention in today'...
