Re: Brake Disc Sizes.

Hi I would take a wheel off and measure the diameter and thickness of the disc where the pads run . I used a local motor factors to get discs and pads for 2 karoq's . I asked a mechanic friend what make he would recommend, he said " blue circle " If there any problems with the parts it's e...

Re: 12v outlets

Hi , I bought my Karoq with an aftermarket tow bar fitted by John Wayne , It needed a genuine wiring loom fitting to get rid of some errors . Afterwards the torch / boot light stopped working . They'd not reconnected the plug , I found it dangling behind the panel , next to it is the wiring for the ...

Re: Brakes shuddering at all speeds

I went to Morecambe to buy a 68 plate karoq 1.0 sel for my son in law , same problem with rust brakes , I ended up with £120 off price , to put towards brakes , it's amazing how bad they have to be to fail the mot , as long as they work and don't bind. Re: BOOT LIGHT FALLEN

Try gaffer tape on the end of wire coat hanger , wrapped around so sticky side is on the out side .
It's got me out of tight spots .
Hope this helps .
I have had that panel off to find and reconnect the plug for the torch which the tow bar fitter left off, which takes a bit of time and care

Re: Retrofitted Towbar??

I've just bought a 2018 karoq 1.5 se with only 1100 miles on the clock , the previous owner had a swan tow bar fitted by a cowboy who didn't use a Skoda wiring harness or configure the computer . It caused a front assist and reversing sensors not to work , which ment I got the car at a discount . It...

Re: Skoda Karoq Fuel Filler Flap FYI

Hi my filler flap opening took a few tries , when its open the black pin stuck out from the car can be lubricated with some thin oil and worked in and out to spread the oil down into the sleeve , there is a twist action as it moves in and out. It opens a lot easier now. If it moves oil it , if it do...

Re: Boot lid filling with water

Hi Jane My boot lid was filling up like yours , if you read my posts on the first page it was eventually fixed on the 18 Jan last year with a squirt of grease on gas strut brackets bolts on both sides of the boot lid ,shown in the photo . Mention it to your dealership it might save them having to ta...
