My first fill of petrol and the filler flap remained unmovable.
Gave it a sharp tap in the centre and as said above it pops open.

Re: Good Reviews of 1.5 engine!
I have only owned our 1.5 manual SEL Karoq for a week so my comments may not be very valid. Compared to the previous modern, a 1.6 Diesel Octavia, the torque available when starting is much less, as to be expected. Diesels have much more torque at low revs. Adapting my driving style to compensate I ...

Fitting a Tow Bar to a 2018 1.5 TSI SEL
I have read the posts regarding the fitting of a tow bar and it would appear far from a trivial process. I just wish to pull a small camping trailer with 7 pin electrics as its useful for taking stuff to the tip and collecting straw etc. I have had a quote of £300+Vat from a trailer fitting company ...

Re: Loose Cable
Being inquisitive I had a clearer look and there were two lose wires both terminated with insulating material.
Perhaps they are intended to open the boot when the kick sensor option is chosen?

Re: Loose Cable
Yes,
I collected my 1.5TSI SEL a few days ago and like you noticed those wires by the boot lock.
Normally a rubber blanking grommet would close off such a hole to prevent people fiddling.
A bit of a mystery why it has not been blanked off.

Re: Another question ....navigation
Thanks Ian,
The road speed limits always appear on the screen so that is quite useful.
I should have specified the traffic option up front.
Cheers

Speed warning
With my old Garmin the speed warning was a useful feature that beeped if you exceeded the roads speed limit.
The Admundsun system although having numerous confusing options appears to omit this very useful feature. Is there any way of including it.?

Re: KESSY
Thanks Mikaroq,
As the key fob cannot be locked in the boot ( the boot lid remains unlatched) I assume that having the fob close to the boot will have the same effect. These new fangled features take a bit of getting used to after my 6 year old Octavia.

Re: KESSY
I have just purchased an 1.5 TSI SEL and am slowly discovering its features. One thing threw me completely. The Kessy system works as expected on the drivers door, it will unlock, lock and can be turned off by touching during the locking sequence. The boot lid however always appeared to be unlocked....
