When in the UK, the Satnav only marks in the name of roads and not villages and towns you may pass through. However I have just been to France and there the satnav shows all the village and town names....why??

I don't know about the SE but on the SEL you can get the headlights to adjust for LH and RH driving in the Car/settings menu.
