Re: Tray in centre console
I find it very handy for my keys when returning home. As my remote garage door opener is on this rather than fiddling around in my pocket to get the keys. Leave keys in pocket other wise. I do use the cup holders for cans of drink (not cups) but as said you can just take it out or reverse for raised...

Re: Stop & Start
hi, just permanently disable it. It has No point. Is only there so Skoda can have better fuel economy figures on test. Real life no effect on economy! Its annoying, you here going on and off etc and dangerous as if you don't realise the engine is off (music up loud) take off is hesitant and seconds ...

Re: 2020 Karoq with 1.4 TSI and 8 speed auto
Hi see this link, https://www.caradvice.com.au/815418/2020-skoda-karoq-australia/ and the quote, "Come the second quarter of 2020, the same car will instead be powered by a 1.4-litre engine mated with an eight-speed torque converter automatic." I also understand that some Audi that use a d...

2020 Karoq with 1.4 TSI and 8 speed auto
Hi From next month the base Karok here in Australia will no longer have the 1.5 TSI and 7 speed DSG. This was the only engine/gear box sold here. Now the Karoq will come with a 1.4 TSI and an 8 speed torque converter auto. Reason given by Skoda is VW group will not use euro 6 engines in markets that...

Re: For those fed up with stop/start.......a tip
Hi (I posted this on another topic but may help) I too hate stop start and was switching it off at every start but you some times forget and then that delay restarting can be dangerous. Solution was have it off permanently (only 10 pound UK) I bought a Carista OBD adaptor for 10 quid (here was $19 A...

Re: Dq200 dry dsg gear box
Hi Jimmy when you said your 2WD had a wet clutch I emailed Skoda Australia. The Karoq Brochure here says it's a dry clutch. Skoda confirmed that my FWD Karoq 1.5 dsg is a DQ200 dry clutch. I would be surprised if the clutch plates are covered by an extended warranty as they are wear and tear parts l...

Re: Dq200 dry dsg gear box
Hi I thought the DQ381 is the 4x4 version of the DQ380. So the 4x4 1.5 Karoq would I guess use this box. But I understood the 1.5 front drive Karoq uses the DQ200-7 dry clutch. This has had many updates but still uses the same code DQ200. Could anyone confirm this as I thought mine was a DQ200 dry c...

SuperSkoda price warning
Hi many of us may have used SoperSkoda for stuff. My other car is a Yeti and I loved the Cargo elements that came standard in my Oz Karoq. So I checked Ebay and Superskoda for a pair of these. So ordered what I assumed was a pair (yea, I know my bad) from SuperSkoda. Turns out they only sell them as...

Re: Auto stop start delay please!
Hi Colin I have the electric seats so the dipping works but don't know if that's possible via the OBD. Can set a different dip for all three profiles. I did put the tacho/speedo sweep needles on start up. Put the rear leds on as DRL. and some other stuff including changing the auto indicator from 3 ...
