Re: For those fed up with stop/start.......a tip

I am led to believe that it can be turned off in the EU with an OBD unit. The dealer should be able to do this, but I bet they would refuse quoting the warranty at you.

Re: Yeti owner to Karoq ordered

Jack, Welcome to the forum. If it's anything like my Kodiaq from factory to dealer could take a month. The longest delay maybe waiting for the boat from Emden (Germany). The problem is that the boats carry ALL VAG cars.VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT. Being the poor relations I get the impression that Skod...

Drive Mode selection

Every time you start your engine you have to go into DM selection window and choose the one you want. A friend has a Golf R 18 reg and it stays on the selected option every time it is started up. I know some of you find this infuriating (including me!) I have asked them if there is anyway dealers ca...

Welcome to the forum. Ask any questions, hopefully someone will have the answer.

Ian,
STYLE is EU nomenclature. I think STYLE = SE L. But not sure.

Re: Up to date 1.5 EVO 'Kangaroo' fix available

Ian, According to my dealer it was only during a certain period covering 18 reg cars. Apparently it was not EVERY 1.5, although it did occur throughout the VAG . It was usually on manuals. although mine, alluded to above, was DSG it was a very insignificant fault and soon went away of its own accord...

Up to date 1.5 EVO 'Kangaroo' fix available

This from my Skoda dealer 5 minutes ago,
Hi Colin,

Hot off the press. The 1.5 TSI fix has been released for some engines. I have checked one Karoq which was covered by it, so would assume something like your old one would too.

Regards,

Re: Karoq 1.5 DSG consumption

Ian, I would agree with you and for the same reasons. I can't be bothered with 'brim to brim'.It gets fed when it needs it. Using the MFD, the most I have ever got on a run was 47, driving like an 'old woman'. Normal cross country run up to all relevant speed limits, usually gets me about 44mpg. Rou...
