DO NOT! Be tempted to cut any wires to disable it. The default, if you do, is that the car will not start at all!! and your warranty will go out of the window! My first Karoq (68 reg) suffered slightly from 'Kangaroo' syndrome, I found a quick 'BLIP' on the throttle solved it. Eventually the problem went away of its own accord.
My current Karoq (19reg) does not suffer at all.

Forgot to add to above - Karoq has also lost the manual headlight level adjustment (halogen lamps). It is is there but stupidly now buried in the touch screen menus where no one will bother to look.
