The only warning is don't pull the lekky brake on when moving unless travelling at high speed. Sounds a*rse about face, but if you pull it up before the car has come to a complete halt the retardation is very severe. (it works on all 4 wheels) anything in the back that is loose will fly forward and ...

Try going to another tyre shop. That doesn't look too near the edge to me. Try Bathwick if you have one near you. I have always found them first class. Being of a suspicious mind....I wonder, if due to covid and lack of business they might be trying it on to bolster their cash flow. I igonored my TP...

Fuses? ( !2v is live constantly- USB (5V) is ignition controlled.)

I think you might mean 'if they reintroduced the Yeti built to the original standards. ....' Which they wouldn't be methinks.
I have had 3 Yetis and agree with you about the build quality. I must admit, I have yet to find anything to complain about either of my two Karoqs.
