Re: 1.5 DSG sportline - Initial impressions

Bob, So impressed you said it twice!! I have had Karoqs SE L, Edition and now Sportline. I would second most of what you say. SE L certainly more comfortable, Edition was excellent apart from 45 aspect tyres (a bit iffy comfort wise) Had a pan roof and 4wd and varioflex seats as standard. Spor...

Re: Potential 1 yr old Karoq Sportline purchase

Nobby, Are you an insomniac, or is your forum clock wrong? 02.34?? I found the 4wd Edition more comfortable than my current sport line, albeit with the latter being on 40s and the Edition being on 45. I HATE the 40s!! I am seriously considering buying so 17inch Raticlans with 55 section just to make...

Re: Potential 1 yr old Karoq Sportline purchase

Nobby, welcome to the forum. I am on my 8th Skoda and on my 3rd Karoq. I have had all 3 with the 1.5 DSG. FIRSTLY.... Unless you are buying an early 18 reg you must disregard any fairytales about the 1.5 kangarooing. It was only first half of 18 where the kangaroo was in evidence. My first Karoq (SE...

Re: New Sportline 1.5 TSI

Mine is lacking the 'flappy paddles' which seems ludicrous to me on a so called 'Sport' Line. Makes little difference to me. I can still drive manually by 'wagging' the stick If I really feel the need. I must admit, I m pretty underwhelmed by the Sportline compared to my Edition. Pretty low spec in ...

Re: New Sportline 1.5 TSI

Mine is 2 months old so on the cusp of the 21 model and does NOT have a heated steering wheel. It does however have ridiculous 'rubber band' tyres of 40 aspect. I didn't realise until it was too late. Deepest possible is 45 aspect and would cost about £780 to replace. Still at least the Osteopath's ...

I have just P/Xd mine with Meadens of Brockenhurst.
If interested, give Tom Sexton (Dealer Principle) a tinkle and tell him Colin Lambert pointed you in his direction.

Re: Electric windows

Even without being able to raise the window it might be worth trying Ian's tip (I think it's 10 seconds BTW. OR With the car unlocked, try locking the car with the key fob until the windows close. ( you have to keep the fob button pressed after the car locks until the windows are fully closed) If it...

Re: Electronically operated boot

I agree with Mark. I have had that problem in the past. If you are a dog owner they can be particularly dodgy with the dog either getting trapped (never happened to me luckily) or jumping out either too early or when you have put it in the car and before the boot has closed. (has happened to me) It ...
