Re: Karoq SE Headrests

I'm lead to believe that the Karoq may be the same as the ATECA. Costs nothing to have a grope!!
Please let us know if successful.

Re: 8 months in with my Scout - a few questions

Can't help with paint or Android I'm afraid, but you could try E-bay for the Boot at. I bought mine there. you have a choice of varying prices.

Re: 1.5 Diesel DSG

Forgive me if I appeared to be teaching 'Granny to suck eggs' I am often not aware of members knowledge levels.
Speed Limiter.
Do you have ACC or ordinary cruise control? I do not have ACC so am not sure of it's intricacies.
I do know that my CC doesn't have a speed limiter.

Re: New member, new Skoda owner

As far as I am aware .......Your car could have been made in '19 but late enough to be a MY20. What exactly do you mean by tyre display? Where have you looked for it MFD, and or Infotainment screen? Umbrella. Ask dealer it may have been left out, as I can find no mention of umbrellas or tyre PM, any...

Re: 1.5 Diesel DSG

1.Paddles allow you to change gear, up/down. Nothing to do with drive mode selection. 2.Karoqs (& all Skodas as far as I know) do not have speed limiters. They have a speed WARNING that can be set via the multi function display . 3. Tip..... if you want a second speed warning you can go into 'settin...

I recently took delivery of a Karoq 1.6TDI SE Technology. However, I think I've discovered a weird interface problem. ...

Re: Heated rear screen

Good luck, Do let us know if you find the problem. If you don't, I suggest you leave it at the dealer overnight OUTSIDE and then let them see what the problem is. Prefeferably when a heavy frost is forecast. I must admit I have never had any condensation in any of my Skodas unless there is a wet dog...

Re: Heated rear screen

Condensation is more difficult to clear than ice.
Assuming you live in a currently frosty area, how long does it to clear ice on the outside?
At 2 degs below freezing (30f) this morning it took about 4 minutes.
Why are you getting heavy condensation in it??

Re: New member, new Skoda owner

The well known 'Kangaroo' performance only affected cars built in the early part of '18. Skoda have claimed (eventually) to have a fix for it.
If your 1.5 EVO is either side of 18 reg you should be ok.
