Re: Uncomfortable Seat

I am 6' and 31 inch leg. (used to be 6'2" and 33" (that's what old age does for you) both Kodiaq and Karoq had/have manually adjusted seats. I admit Karoq has slightly less room, but although shorter in the leg than you I find it superbly comfortable (leather in Karoq, Alcantara in Kodiaq). I have m...

Re: KESSY

Ian is quite correct, it is SO simple to disable by the method he describes. I've tried it and it DOES work. Anyone who can't be bothered to click the key pad and then touch the door pad, deserves to loose their car. Neither my Kodiaq (past) and my Karoq (present) both require the key pad to be IN t...

Re: Any fix for Kangarooging

VAG are 'working on a fix' Don't hold your breath! It appears to affect mainly manual cars. My DSG is not affected. Many Kodiaq 1.5 owners are jumping up and down about this problem. I reckon it needs a tweak to the ECU that controls the mixture when cold. (what used to be the 'choke') When you star...

Re: New Skoda Baby SUV KAMIQ

I'm with you FPR.! I think both the Kodiaq and the Karoq are great looking cars. Being an old fashioned (old age!) sort of bloke I like SUVs and estate cars to look like what they were originally designed for, load lugging. That's why I had three Yetis. The slopey back SUVs And 'Tourers' (as modern ...

Re: Ahoy there from Newbury

Bonjour 'Matelot',
Welcome to the forum.
Many people moaning about sat nav. I find mine perfectly acceptable.
To turn it off. Simply change to 'Radio" or some other choice of buttons on the sides.
To turn the whole system off. press the bottom left physical button (volume control).

Re: 1.6 TDI

Some 1.5 DSG KODIAQ owners would disagree with Ford Pop, I'm afraid. See here.....https://www.kodiaqforums.co.uk/viewtopi ... =11&t=2252
The problem seems to be spreading rapidly with DSGs now suffering as well.
Luckily my Karoq is fine having 'recovered' from a very mild case of 'Kanga'.
