Re: Tow bar

I've done 3 bikes on the back no problem at all (total bike weight around 53kg plus 15kg carrier). Car was very stable. I read in the handbook the nose weight limit is 75kg btw

Re: first service

We had our first service at 9,500 miles when the indicator told us it was coming up - shorter than usual but do a lot of towing these days for my son's karting :-)

Re: What annoys you about your Karoq?

Not me either for the DSG, although am petrol. Have also just picked up car after 1st service and although it was only a short journey back the whole gearbox / pulling away seemed far smoother and responsive. Will keep an eye on this over next few days and report back, as possibly a software update ...

Re: What annoys you about your Karoq?

One more from me - useless rain gutters resulting in constant dripping into the car if I want the window slightly open and it is raining (although same can probably be said of most modern cars...)

Re: 19" Crater wheels & skinny rubber. Ride comfort comments please.

Missed this thread in time to advise, but I love the Edition and have no issue with the comfort at all. My only preference would be the 2ltr petrol which I know you can get in the Sportline now so must avoid temptation...

Re: Thinking about buying a Karoq but...

Bonkers maybe, but I love the sunroof too :-)

Do let us know what you think about the ride quality - I find the 19's fine, but have come from cars that probably rode more stiffly anyway

Re: Thinking about buying a Karoq but...

Hi cmac We have the 1.5 TSI Edition. Although everyone's views are subjective I would say the following: 1. I have no problem with the 19 inch wheels. The 18's on the SEL do give a slightly smoother ride (based on test drive comparisons) but I find the ride totally acceptable and far softer than our...
