Re: Mpg

Only 200 miles in with my 1.5 petrol manual and seeing approx 46mpg, mostly on A road driving. Quite happy with that for now and hoping it might just improve a tad once a few more miles go on the clock.

Re: Long delivery delays

My last new car back in 2015 (VW Golf) took 8 months from order to delivery which was over 4 months late. I can fully relate to the frustrations being felt. Visited a couple of dealers to price up a 1.5 SEL. The first wouldn’t offer anything more than a £1500 PCP sweetener. However, the second dealer was offering (or was squeezed sufficiently to offer) the PCP sweetener plus a further £1700 off and a set of mud flaps. Not sure they had much left to offe...

Re: SEL vs Edition

Both cars are really well equipped and look good. However, in the end I settled on the SEL and added a couple of options including full leather which at £250 seemed like a bargain. The main items on the Edition spec that I didn’t care for (and wouldn’t want to be paying extra for) were the 19 inch w...

Re: Newbie

Well done! Of course you’ve done the right thing. Not only best value but probably best full stop in its class. I’ve never owned a Skoda before and I also considered a few others including the CX-5 but like you I was won over by the Karoq. I didn’t even feel the need for a test drive - just ordered ...
