Re: Juddery wipers?
Yes Gwenlais1 I gave up fiddling and bought a new set. They are smooth and silent - much better than the factory ones ever were! Spoiling the ship for a hap'orth of tar eh?

Re: Front assist radar scanner
Thanks Colin. So does the radar work through the plastic? Didn't know it could. But then my knowledge of radar is limited to understanding what the word means!
Not going to try and dry it out today though.....

Front assist radar scanner
Hi all Does anyone know exactly where the radar scanner for the Front Assist is situated please? I presume it's in the front grille somewhere but I can't see it with a quick look. Mine has recently started playing up following a dousing in a big puddle, the yellow warning triangle comes on with the ...

Re: Problem updating Navigation map
Thanks to all contributors!
I've just updated my map and everything went smoothly and to plan. Most unusual for cars/computers!!
I'm very suspicious, there must be a catch somewhere.....

Re: Unknown warning light
Sounds like it's the radar detection thingy that puts the brakes on if you're too close to something and the system thinks you are going to hit it. Front Assist I think it's called. It has a tendency to go off in error on country lanes. Mine once went off in a narrow lane of cones on the motorway. B...

Re: Drive mode memory?
Thanks everyone. No easy answer then
It's all the more frustrating because when you first turn on, the screen is doing so many things, like most computers, that it doesn't react to the button. There quite a delay before it has time to talk to you!
Never mind, I'll have to get used to it......

Drive mode memory?
You will no doubt know that if you select Eco mode, for example, the car is unable to remember that setting and reverts to Normal mode once you've turned the ignition off. Also it is confused about the Drive Mode button light and leaves that on when it should be off. Does anyone know if these faults...

Re: Juddery wipers?
Thanks Kodiaq. Will do though I can't remember any event when the screen was particularly dirty or sticky.
Unless it's something to do with factory or PDI.
As no one else is having troubles at least it's not a new design feature!!

Juddery wipers?
Anyone else have juddery wipers and a sound like the the drivers side wiper is hitting the A pillar at the extreme of it's clockwise travel? (There is nothing for the wiper to hit as the screen/pillar join is fairly flush) Mine seem sensitive to the amount of rain and driving speed. Sometimes they a...
