Re: Key failure with no warning
I decided not to pour loads of money into a new car this time. It just did not seem like a good idea with ICE cars likely to become too expensive to run when the government decided they can't con the rest of us into Electric cars and ramps up the fuel duty "to encourage us to be green". Th...

Re: Karoq shortcuts and actions
My Yeti used to close the windows automatically in rain (cars with sunroofs would also close those I believe). I never found a similar function on the Karoq.

Re: Key failure with no warning
I have got into the habit of replacing my fob batteries every year. This became one of my Christmas jobs. New Panasonic batteries every Christmas and no problems since. I have now solved the issue permanently by selling the Karoq. I got a good price for it from a Skoda main dealer two weeks before ...

Re: Skoda Karoq order update.
Picked the Karoq up this afternoon. There seems so much to learn with the controls. The print in the manual is very small and I find it hard to follow. Totally different to my Vauxhalls. Tried to find if there is a radio mute control which on the Vauxhall was a button on the steering wheel. So far ...

Re: Key failure with no warning
Are all the other doors locking and unlocking on the first attempt? If so, it sounds like a dodgy solenoid in the drivers door rather than anything wrong with KESSY or your key fob.

Re: E10 Petrol
I track my mileage and fuel consumption and have done for years. I can't say that I have seen any difference between E5 and E10 fuel in the Karoq. On the tweaked Volvos (two T5s and a V70R all north of 300BHP) the difference between 2 star and Shell V-power 4 star was massive in terms of how cleanly...

Welcome Ian.
My 1.5 SEL DSG is now approaching 4 years old and I am still happy with the car (a few niggles with simply silly tech aside).
Ian (another one ).

Re: Little Heat or Aircon coming from either footwell
David, I can't say I have noticed this issue. I simply leave the system set to auto and it just works. The only time I ever play with the air direction controls is a maximum demist if I have had to leave wet dogs in the car. A few seconds and I am back to auto. My gut feel is that if you have notice...
