Re: UPDATE OF YOUR SYSTEM COLUMBUS

To be honest, I have not bothered to update my maps. If I need good navigation my old Garmin unit is far superior to the built-in system (as well as being far cheaper to buy and easier to update).

Have fun,

Re: Condensation on head/fog lights

I can't say I've paid any attention to it on the Karoq but my previous car, a Yeti, often had condensation in the lights when cold. It soon cleared when I drove it.

Have fun,

Ian.

Re: Hardwiring Dashcam

I had my dashcam fitted by www.dashcampros.uk They posted the camera to me and then came and fitted it a day or two later. Excellent, tidy job and polite, friendly service. I could not fault them and the fitting price was rather better than the Skoda dealership wanted for fitting.

Have fun,

Re: Dynamic chassis control & Canton Sound

Neil, I am with Colin on the Adaptive Cruise Control, I have it in my Karoq and recently drove my wife's car (which has the standard cruise control) I really did not expect to miss the ACC as much as I did. If I were to specify another car today, the two "absolutely must-haves" would be ACC and the ...

Re: Dynamic chassis control & Canton Sound

I listened to a Canton system in the showroom and then tried the standard system in another car. I'm blowed if I could hear any difference. Add in the background noise of a moving car and I suspect the only benefit of the Canton system is bragging rights. In the end, you pays your money and makes yo...

Just received the same email.

A pity, but not the end of the world.

Re: Yeti owner to Karoq ordered

Welcome to the club.

I still miss my Yeti for it's "personality" but there is no question that by any objective measure the Karoq is a better car.

Have fun,

Re: Rear Fog Lights 1 or 2 ?

Only one rear fog light is fitted to the Karoq. Pull out fog light switches putting the front on first is pretty standard; my old Fords did the same. (Probably so that the sort of idiot who likes to drive around with his front fogs on all night does not have to blind the guy behind him.) Have fun, I...

Re: Up to date 1.5 EVO 'Kangaroo' fix available

Do you have any indication of which engines are covered? Or why some are and others are not?

Re: New

Welcome to our little corner of cyberspace.

I do not recognise the trim level "style", could you share your general location with us?

Have fun,
