Re: Yeti owner to Karoq ordered

Welcome to the club.

I still miss my Yeti for it's "personality" but there is no question that by any objective measure the Karoq is a better car.

Have fun,

Re: Rear Fog Lights 1 or 2 ?

Only one rear fog light is fitted to the Karoq. Pull out fog light switches putting the front on first is pretty standard; my old Fords did the same. (Probably so that the sort of idiot who likes to drive around with his front fogs on all night does not have to blind the guy behind him.) Have fun, I...

Welcome to our little corner of cyberspace.

I do not recognise the trim level "style", could you share your general location with us?

Have fun,

Re: Karoq 1.5 DSG consumption

Slapdash? Real users in the real world are surely more accurate than the published figures. These figures match my 1.5Tsi DSG 2wd (5000 miles) within a couple of points. Tom Yup; slapdash. How do those real users get their figures? From the cars trip computer? (It lies -they always do). From brim t...

Re: Does anybody use the Skoda Connect or My Skoda apps?

Looks like the majority here have no use for it. I certainly see no value in spending time on it. Bit like KESSY really, they want to say they have it but it really adds nothing I need.

Have fun,

I received the following from Meadens:

Hello Ian,

Thank you for getting in touch. Yes, they still require Karoq owners. I will keep your email flagged, and then contact you once I know more.

Re: Karoq 1.5 DSG consumption

Colin,

Given the somewhat slapdash way in which Honest John collects the "real" data I would suggest a large pinch of salt may be required.

Colin, The manual contains the following warning: The traffic signs may not be displayed or displayed incorrectly in the system e.g. in the following situations. ■ When visibility is poor, (e.g. fog, heavy rain, thick snowfall). ■ The sensor is blinded by the sun or oncoming traffic. ■ The field of ...
