I'm enjoying the heated seats in mine, is a heated steering wheel a separate option
Yes. The heated wheel is not standard at any trim level. It may be the best £150 I spent when I specified my car.

Have fun,

Re: New one ordered

<Snip> Had a email today of a build date of week 48. Possible delivery late December early 2019 but time will tell. Happy days ! jeez, and you're prepared to wait that long? That is hardly any wait at all. Some folks have waited five or six months to get their cars. My car took 14 weeks... have fun...

Re: Folding rear seats

Folding the rear seats confused me in the Yeti but the Karoq is the same and once you know the trick it is very easy and no problem at all. The trick is in squashing the cushions sufficiently. The attached information was lifted from the pdf copy of the owners manual, page 86. In Support Desk langua...

Re: Putting clock back an hour help

I also had problems with setting time on the Columbus in Vehicle/Settings/Time and Date. I had to change from GPS setting to Manual and then manually set the time. Stayed set to right time after that. I would have thought that GPS would automatically change the time but didn't. The PS satellites tr...

Re: New here

Metallic black. I'm in Gravesend. I put the clock back an hour yesterday, today it was back as before, so I did it again this morning. Later I noticed it was back as before. I need to check the instructions but think I need to push set The default setting is for the clock to take it's setting from ...

Re: Kangaroo movements in first gear

I can't say that I have noticed any hesitation or kangarooing. However, it may be worth noting that I tend to be fairly sympathetic to cold engines and tend not to ask them to work hard before the oil has had a few minutes to start warming up and to reach all the nooks and crannies in the engine. Ha...

Re: 1st warranty work due to heated windscreen??

I have only used the heated screen a few times and each time only for a few minutes when the car was otherwise cold, so I can't say I have noticed it having an impact on the stop / start as that would not usually operate anyway when everything is cold. I did, however, notice that the heated screen w...

Re: New here

I did the first 1000 miles or so in mine in Eco mode to give the engine a chance to loosen up before I got too heavy footed. When I put it back to standard, the only thing I really noticed was that it changed gear a bit later. I can't say that I saw a measurable difference in fuel economy but I susp...
