Re: Karoq: Speed limit on virtual cockpit

Do tell. I can't see any way on the mfd of setting speed alarm to more than one speed. Colin, To get the second speed warning go to the main infotainment display and press the menu "button" at the bottom right. Select vehicle | settings | tyres. Now check the box for winter tyres and set your chose...

Re: Run flat tyres? Winter tyres? Michelin CrossClimate tyres?

I had a Yeti on 16" wheels and used Crossclimates. They were superb in poor conditions, far better than the original rubber and I did not notice any loss of grip in warm dry weather. They were quieter than the original tyres and seemed to be lasting longer (I did not wear them out before I sold the ...

Re: Karoq: Speed limit on virtual cockpit

Which speed limit are we talking about? The limiter you can set to any speed (why only ONE setting Skoda? Simply stupid!) There are two speed warnings available as standard Colin (if you work around the system). Before I discovered how to link the speed warning to the Traffic Sign Recognition I had...

Re: Karoq: Speed limit on virtual cockpit

Mike,

You should be aware that the speed limit you see in videos of the "proper" cockpit ( :) ) is the Traffic Sign Recognition option, it is not standard. if you do not have this option specified it will not be available to you.

Have fun,

Ian.

Re: Drive mode - remembering/storing preferred default mode

I believe the mode resets to normal each time the ignition is switched off. The car may try to con you though as the main screen continues to show the previously selected mode anc the mode button stays lit even though the car has reverted to normal. The MFD between the dials will display correctly. ...

Re: Any fix for Kangarooging

Depending on the out come, I suggest you 'name & shame' your dealer to protect others from their incompetence! No need to wait for the outcome. Your dealer has already demonstrated his contempt for the people who by cars from him; at the very least, anybody dealing with such a company should do so ...

Re: Orange warning triangle

I see the point but that is no different to a car being too close behind you and you manually applying emergency brake. The car should not be so close behind and in circumstances where emergency braking is necessary whether vehicle initiated or driver initiated, it is still necessary and cant be av...
