Re: Are You happy with new Karoq

Colin.....I might be slow on the uptake here but, your footnote, it contains the line 'Beige leather S/saver', what's the S/saver? Re: Are You happy with new Karoq

I am generally happy with the car. The Varioflex seats are really useful if, like me, you sometimes wish you had a van. I had a Yeti with varioflex before the Karoq and loved the flexibility it provided so, had I been buying an SE I would undoubtedly have added varioflex seats to my specification ev...

Re: Unable to open fuel filler flap

Babsie, Were you on the Yeti forum? They were so rude about the Karoq, it would be good if you are a member (I still am) If you said how much you love it , just to wind them up.   ;) There are a number of former Yei owners here who were on the Yetiownerclib forum. There is a section...

Re: Tyre pressure monitor

The Yeti had the same system and it was very effective when I had a slow puncture that I did not fix for several months, generally alarming when the pressure dropped about 2psi. However, when I was forced into a pothole by oncoming traffic, leaving a 2 inch diameter hole in my sidewall (deflation do...

Re: LED headlights - one disadvantage I had not considered

Is that auto main beam, switches to dipped automatically. My mates 1953 Cadillac has that feature, standard figment in 1953, nothing new like many things automotive This was fitted to a Qashqai I hired a few years back; I turned it off after it tried to kill me in Devon. I was driving fairly quickl...

Are you sure the surgeon had passed his anatomy exam? Hips and brains should not be easily confused ;)

Have fun,

Re: Faulty satnav

There is still a lot to be said for having a mental map of the route you intend rather than blindly relying on the technology. Checking the route is sensible is a good idea, I have seen many different mapping systems try to take routes that are overly biased towards minimum distance (and use lanes t...

Unfortunately UK laws do not allow the remote control of a motor vehicle so it's not an option in little Britain . ☹️
Which is kind of interesting, since it is possible to start the engine of a colleague's Jaguar from his cell phone... :?:

Have fun,
