Re: Karoq 2017 and 2018 specs
I have a 2018 1.0 SE Nav Plus which has front and rear parking sensors, sat nav and adaptive cruise control as standard. I find it is easily powerful enough for all my needs and has no problems on the motorway. Admittedly I rarely have it fully loaded so it is possible it might be a bit underpowered...

Re: Infotainment Amundsen
I have had the same problem on my Amundsen system and it was the same on the Yeti I had previously. Have given up trying to find a solution - there are more important things to worry about. It has been suggested that the graphics won’t display because I use an iMac and that downloading albums to SD ...

Re: Cure for juddery wipers
My 2018 Karoq also suffered from Juddery front and rear wipers. Not too bad when it was new but gradually got worse. Tried all the cleaning techniques suggested which only provided a temporary cure. Eventually dusted off the credit card and bought a set of Bosch Aerotwin blades from Amazon and probl...

Re: Net bag in passenger footwell
Had my Karoq since November and have never used it. Suppose it might come in handy one day but can’t think of a good use for it at the moment.

Re: Hello
Good choice! I have had a 1.0 SE in business Grey since last November and so far have been delighted. It is roomier than the Yeti 1.2 and drives just as well despite the smaller engine. Fuel consumption is also better than the Yeti and there is a lot more standard kit (much of which I never use). Mi...

Re: Karoq vs CX-5?
I have had a 1.0 SE Nav Plus since last November and am delighted with it. It is roomy, quiet, easy to drive and very comfortable. No problems with the engine, unlike many 1.5 owners, so I thoroughly recommend it. Mine is manual, mainly because I didn’t fancy spending about £1500 extra on a DSG but ...

Re: Roof bars
Download a Karoq accessories brochure from the Skoda website and you’ ll find them in there. £190 plus another £33 if you want a bag for them!

Re: Roof bars
I bought mine from eBay when I had a Yeti but they fit the Karoq Ok. Just have to make sure they are long enough 135cm. I had bars with identical fittings when I had an Octavia Estate but they were only 120 cm long and wouldn’t fit the Yeti or the Karoq. Just trawl through eBay and have a look. Mine...

Re: 1.0 TSI OR 2.0 TDI
I have had a 1.0 TSI since November. Plenty powerful enough for me with acceptable acceleration. Probably wouldn’t be the best choice if you planned to do a lot of rapid overtaking on single carriageways but I prefer a nice sedate ride! Mine is a manual and the gear box is pretty smooth but not quit...

Re: 1.6 TDI
Agree with all that Kodiaq has said. I’d go for petrol. I have the 1.0 SE Nav Plus and have been very pleased with it so far. Has more power than I need (but I am no boy racer), is smooth, spacious and comfortable. If you need more power you would need to get a 1.5 petrol but according to hundreds o...
