Re: Hard Wiring a Dash Cam With parking Mode

I have my dash cam fed from the OBD socket which has live pos and neg pins. Look online for polarity. Get a wireable OBD plug from eBay and an inline fuse and route the cable up the rubber door seal, just tuck it in, then across inside the front of the headlining.

Re: Multi-Clutch Failure

Lack of engine oil should not affect the DSG clutches. They are separate components.

Re: Potential Owner, looking for advice

I have a 2021 Karoq SE-L which came with a full size spare wheel in a well below the boot floor and is limited to 50 mph if you have to use it. In my opinion I would rather have a spare wheel than a repair kit. The boot space is very good but the Varioflex seats do not fold flat. They fold forward a...

Re: Car locking itself

I had this problem last week. Sometimes the car would lock itself, other times it would not open when I touched the outside handle. Sometimes the key was not recognised when sitting in driver seat. Then a message flashed up in dash saying fob battery needed changing. I changed the battery and have n...

Re: Change in MPG- Possible eco mode error

I have a 21MY Karoq 4x4 SEL 2.0 D and get very good fuel consumption. I did a round trip of 155 miles last week on motorways and country roads and got 47.2 mpg. in normal setting. Eco setting is not always the most economical I have found. What milage has the car got on the clock? Is it due a servic...

Re: Rear view mirror

I wired my dash cam direct from the OBD socket this is permanently live, pins 16 and 4. Ran the cam cable up under the rubber season A pillar, across under the front edge of headlining to camera. Neat and tidy, cable mostly hidden. Get a wireable OBD plug from eBay to connect cam lead to.

I would save the original data to your pc before wiping the card for the new data, or get another card to put the new data onto.

Re: Beeping noise from speakers??

Does it happen when driving or stationary? When radio is on on a particular station? Does it happen when playing media via usb socket?

Re: Karoq recall

In response to CJJE I asked them to send the stickers out and I could put them on myself, but they said no. Skoda dealer has to remove old ones and fix new ones.
it's a five minute job done while you wait, but they have a two hour slot allocated for this fix.

Karoq recall

I took my MY21 Karoq into dealer to get the SOS Emergency issue sorted which took 6 hours. When I went to collect it I was told there was a recall for the stickers on the headlamps, under bonnet, to be changed as they had put the wrong ones on when the car was built. As the stickers were not in stoc...
