Re: Names?

I don't think we've ever named our cars, I'm on my 3rd car husband on at least 8th, the only sort of thing that came close was in 1997 we got our first Lexus with navigation built in and we used to call that Naomi the navigator as we were sure one day she'd tell us off as we would ignore the way she...

Re: How many have you seen?

no not me Ian, the quarterlight is the only way I can tell, even the name on the back is not always easy to see as they both start with a K and when you're driving you can't always see clearly enough from a distance.

Re: Vehicle Tracker

I hope to be purchasing a Karoq very soon and set about getting an insurance quote. To my surprise the insurance company (LV) said the car wouldn't be insured for theft if no Vehicle tracker was fitted. This is interesting, I wonder if it is your location more than the car. The reason I say this is...

Re: Still waiting

Does anyone have any comments on how quiet and comfortable the Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG is on the motorway. I have ordered my Karoq beginning of May . I currently have a Octavia VRS estate diesel, and drive 40K miles per year. Most of my driving is motorway and from my experience of my Octavia it is very ...

Re: Still waiting

It's great that the car seems popular and that there are orders but Skoda need to pull their finger out. Are they not aware that the Seat Ateca had a 6 -9 month waiting list and that is why some people chose the Karoq, surely they should learn from their sister company's mistakes. Last summer we loo...

Re: How many have you seen?

Ian one of the ways to see if it is a Karoq or Kodiaq if you see it from the side is to look at the rear windows, the Kodiaq has an extra triangle of glass by the rear seats, we keep thinking we've seen one and then no it is a Kodiaq  a few of those near me

Re: Still waiting

10-12 weeks doesn't sound bad, when we were looking at ordering in January when not many orders on the books we were told May and that was before seatgate, I know of people who ordered then and are still waiting a delivery date. There have been issues getting engines but the 4x4s don't seem to be af...

Re: Still waiting

There have been some severe delays due to problems with the supply of seats in some models and other manufacturing issues.

Would be helpful if you said which spec you are waiting on as it may help others. :)
