No experience, but picking ours up this aft, 1.0tsi DSG.
Had intended to look at the 1.5, but was persuaded the 1.0 wouldn't be much different to the two 1.2 DSG Yetis we've had.
We'll see. Our europe touring days are over, and we're mainly pottering round now.

Re: 1.5 Edition First Impressions
Our two phones are set up to work with BT as we get in. Either will handle an incoming call via the car. Only the one showing as "active" will make an outgoing call. We just switch the driver's phone as the active device. Haven't tried BT'ing music as we play ours from the SD card or strea...

Re: 1.5 Edition First Impressions
PS - meant to say, you can choose/change your content on the go. You just have to do it from the car, not the phone.

Re: 1.5 Edition First Impressions
I use Android Auto extensively on our current Yeti, shortly to be p/x for our Karoq. Should be next week. Like Apple's CarPlay, AA is auto safety optimised, in that control is handed to the car, via touch, switch, or voice. The phone itself effectively goes into a locked mode, displaying only Androi...

That you Anna C?
Although we were quoted end April with the order on 22/01, I'm still hoping for early April based on what's happened since.
I am by nature an optimist

Re: Active dash or rev/speedo
Friend brought round his brand new electric Golf yesterday, featuring the e-dash. Sorry for the angle, I was in the passenger seat:

Re: Changing from automatic to manual mode
Won't have Park Assist, but the rest is reassuring. So I'd have manual on/off just like the lever. "It has the added advantage that if you try and drive off when it is set, it will release automatically." So, in our DSG, foot on footbrake to start the engine, shift from Park to Drive/Rever...

Re: Changing from automatic to manual mode
Thanks both. Yes, the equivalent to the handbrake. Had two DSG Yetis with a manual handbrake but sounds like I have a learning curve when the Karoq comes. I like to creep the car into a space by just slightly holding it on the footbrake but find the idea of having to boost the gas to switch off an a...
