Re: USB C ports
No they are not only charging ports. When I first got ours I tried to connect up a dashcam and the camera started 'looking' for the computer. The only way I could solve it was by buying a data blocking cable.

Re: Skoda speed limiter
I haven't used the limiter function, but I guess you have selected the speed setting but not started the limiter. I would imaging you need to pull the cruise control lever to set and to push away to turn it off.

Re: New Owner, Couple of questions please.
You can restore it. The buttons and scroll wheelon the right of the wheel operate the centre part of the digital display. The scroll wheel will scroll though menus and when pressed will select. It may be necessary to do the initial selection whilst the car is stopped, maybe with the engine stopped. ...

Re: Plastic engine cover
There was an issue with engine covers on Kodiaqs, I think. They stopped fitting them due to being a potential fite hazard (can't remember whether it was petrol or diesels). After a redesign they started fitting them again. It may be that someting similar happened with Karoqs, or perhaps there was a ...

Re: New Owner, Couple of questions please.
Depending on the spec of your car, the current speed limit can be detected by the camera behind the interior mirror and displayed on the virtual cockpit. However the speed limit that is displayed can also be picked up from the map database, and over-ridden. At times, my car tells me I am in a 20 mp...

Re: Potential Owner, looking for advice
From what I recall from when I bought ours, there is no spare wheel as standard, and I specified one when we ordered. Ours is 125/70 18, and doesn't impinge on boot space. Interestingly the insert into which it fits is marked Seat, not Skoda.

Re: KESSY Keyless entry
Didn’t realise I had the keyless system when we bought our 2020 Sportline last year and oh my what fun did I have 😂 Had to leave the car around the corner one night so double checked it was locked but of course as soon as I pulled the door handle it opened. Assuming I’d not locked it properly I shu...

Re: 2020 Karoq
I think it unlikely that either is fitted to an SEL. Many of the features which show in the manual areonly present on some, usually higher spec , cars.

Re: Dreaded SOS Error
Hello! New to the forum and Karoq's and not had the start we wanted!... Unfortunately 45 minutes after driving our new (to us) 2020 Karoq home we got the dreaded SOS message. First it was just the message but now its really messing with Car Play when the error arises and it comes on most days. The ...
