Re: E10 Petrol

From the Esso Synergy website. Ii appears that Synergy 99 is not necessarily ethanol free, it depends on where you get it. 'Our Synergy Supreme+ 99 petrol has more cleaning power than our regular petrol – and includes molecules whose job it is to reduce the friction in your engine helping the moving...

I've noticed a big difference in mpg between the two. Gone from 430miles a tank on E5 to 390 on E10.
To clarify, is this between standard E10 and standard E5, or standard E10 and high octane E5. If it is the latter it is the octane rating making the difference.

Re: Car Boot opens without reson

Re: Car Boot opens without reson

I have had this issue twice, and I did some checks. The buttons to unlock the car seem to have a range of about 50 metres,as does the range for the boot button. The range to relock the car is the same, but the button to reclose the boot only works from 2 or 3 metres away. Like CJJE, I put the issue ...

I've noticed a big difference in mpg between the two. Gone from 430miles a tank on E5 to 390 on E10. Drives better on E5 too will octane booster help on a tank of E10 or shall I just use super unleaded I'd suggest just sticking to E5 Premium/Super Unleaded if you feel it's cost-effective. I've been...

Hi.

Just got a brand new Karoq Sprotline and I discovered the SD card has been improved into a pair of USB 3 slots.

My question:

Can I permanently upload media to the vehicle? or is music now dependent on the contents of my phone?
Are you sure they are usb3. My car has 2 usb c slots.

Re: BST/GMT clocks change - or not as the case may be!

I have set it to use GPS as I believe that helps keep the clock accurate i.e. not fast or slow. BUT to move from summertime to wintertime you have to tick/untick the BST box at the appropriate time of year. I don't think that's 'clever' and isn't something I have to do in any of my other cars. And ...

Re: Dash cam diy

Just successfully fitted my dashcam. I tried plugging it via adapters to a usb c socket, but it just came up with 'connecting to usb' and hanging. So I bought 3 short data blocker power usb cables and connected it into the line. It now switches on and off with the ignition. All I've got to do now is...

Re: BST/GMT clocks change - or not as the case may be!

Yes is the quick answer. When I am in the Channel Tunnel travelling to France I switch the time zone to GMT+1 and retain the DST tick box. When returning from France back to GMT (irrespective of whether we are in summer time). If we ever stop using daylight saving time we’ll be out of step with Eur...

Re: 3 Minor issuyes, car 5 days old

Managed to solve the extra paired phoe. You have to delete in settings, not in the phone menu.
And I'm not sure about the steering wheel buttons. It doesn't appear to have any function.
