Re: Loss of pressure detected

It’s simply a matter of checking that your tyre pressures are inflated ( or deflated) to the correct pressures with no variance in the the 2 rear or 2 front I.e 2 rears set at the same pressures and 2 fronts set at the same pressures (you may prefer fronts pressures different to rear pressures) …..a...

Re: Total battery discharge with caravan attached.

I always pulled the plug between the vehicle and the caravan on any make or model of towing vehicle I’ve used, as I’ve flattened the car battery on a few occasions, so I then took to taking a fully charged battery and installing it in the van storage case and connecting that on overnight stops, then...

Re: Warning lights

The stop start system won’t operate when the battery is drawing a lot of power from the air conditioning etc. Mine hade the same problem in the Summer ( I’m in Australia) and as soon as the weather turned cool and I wasn’t using the aircon the stop start operated correctly…..or perhaps You need to r...

Re: automatic gearbox

I have the same problem with my Karoq and it’s a pain in the proverbial
With my previous Skoda Octavia when it was set to Eco it stopped in eco , but it doesn’t happen in the Karoq and it needs to reset to Eco each time you drive it and that’s not good, in fact it’s a backwards step by Skoda

Re: Dog Crate for boot

Sorry I misunderstood the Question and had a mental block in regard to transporting a dog in a boot, my comments were purely mixed up in my thoughts of a sedan boot not a SUV vehicle where the boot is not totally enclosed……sorry for my stupid response and my apologies

Re: Dog Crate for boot

Dogs have no place in a car boot, they can be safely restrained with a harness in the back seat

Re: Tyres

It obviously needs an alignment and if it has had one I’d be challenging the workshop that did the work, I had a problem like that and finished up with the front end guy that did the work supplying me with 2 new tyres

Re: Headup Display

Depends on what brand of HUD you fit, one on my Karok only shows Speed, and revs while the one on my Jeep has a bit more detail, but look up the specs when you decide

Re: Headup Display

I did it myself and I’m not a mechanical person, but had it checked months later by an auto electrician who told me it was all good, i have also fitted one to my older model Jeep and it has been up and running for years, you just need to plug into the diagnostic thingy under the steering wheel dash ...
